If you prefer to workout at home, but you want to start progressing or mixing up your workouts a bit, there are a few pieces of home workout equipment that I would recommend trying. 

Hand weights 

In this 4 video series I show you how to incorporate small hands weights (2lbs) into your workouts for full body strength + cardio benefits. 

Resistance bands 

In this 3 video series I will demonstrate 3 different types of resistance bands and how to get the most out of them. 

Bosu Ball 

In this video series I will show you how to stretch and strengthen your full body while also improving balance and stability. 

Stability Ball 

This 3 Video series will show you how to improve your strength, mobility, balance and stability with a yoga ball. 

All these options are relatively inexpensive and easy to use. The videos below are all designed for beginners. Each section focuses on a different piece of equipment.

Hand Weights

This quick little burner will get you sweating! With a combination of holds, pulses and low impact movement you will build full body strength and get your heart rate up! 

All you need for this workout is a small set of hand weights and a little bit of stamina. Your Arms and Core will be burning by the end of this one! 

This quick workout will make you feel strong! This workout will not only help you lift heavier things, but it can also help you improve your posture and reduce tension and stress in your neck and shoulders! 

Strengthening your lower body with weights requires using compound workouts and a little creativity. Working your lower body with free weights also helps you improve your core stability and balance. For this workout I used 5 pound weights. You should use what’s comfortable for you! 

Resistance Bands

Mini bands are my very favorite of all the types of resistance bands because they are so versatile, easy to use and can go with you anywhere. In this workout I start off by demonstrating a couple of ways they can be used even when you are sitting down! 

All you need for this workout is a long resistance band. In this workout I demonstrate the benefits of using long tub bands with handles. 

This workout is perfect for office workers and anyone who spends a lot of their day hunched over. Poor posture can have a huge effect on your overall health and life. It can cause  chronic pain, tension, headaches and fatigue. This whole workout can be done with a resistance band while sitting in a chair! 


This Bosu Mobility Flow is the perfect way to stretch out your stiff and achey joints. The BOSU offers up leverage and angles that are not as easily achieved without!

This workout is quick but challenging! You will feel it in your arms, shoulders back and core! The BOSU adds an extra element of stability to make it super beneficial! 

This workout doubles down. The BOSU naturally challenges your balance and stability which works your core in everything that you do. 

This workout will get your heart pumping and challenge your balance and stability. All you need is your BOSU Ball and some space. 

Stability Ball

The Stability ball is a wonderful tool for lifting, moving, and leaning on, giving you more opportunity to challenge your balance and stability. 

This is a gentle ab and glute workout that challenges your balance and stability.
